Margie has been at the practice for just over 10 years and has decided it is time to retire. We can’t imagine Margie not doing anything …so instead of working she has told us she “will be fulfilling her creative passions”.
We can’t wait to hear and see what happens next. Margie will be able to continue amongst other things her love of swimming, playing bridge and catching up with friends and family.
Dani has been at the practice for just over 4 years… we are sorry to see her leave. We knew when we appointed her in April 2013 she was something special!!! From our perspective she has been a great receptionist, loved by co workers and patients alike. She always brings a smile, a caring attitude and nothing is too much trouble for her. We will all miss her. We are please that we won’t lose her to our industry!!! Dani is having a well earned holiday overseas for the next couple of months and then plans to study so she can eventually fulfill her dream of becoming a Midwife. It is great to see people grow and although we are very sad to lose her we wish her every success for the future.
GPC is now using mobile reminders to securely tell you when you need to book an appointment for any test or consultation which is required to be performed on a regular basis, such as cervical screening , skin checks, breast check , and flu vaccinations to name a few….
How will the system work?
You will receive a Secure Mobile Notification (SMN)
- Smart recalls allows GPC to send the patient a SMN link to access your recall or reminder information.
- At this stage no sensitive information is revealed. This complies with RACGP
- If you don’t have a mobile you will receive reminders via mail.
You will verify your details
- Following the link you will complete a 3 point identity check. You will now see your recall details
You can then book an appointment
- You can book online by following the link or call the practice to make an appointment as instructed in the SMN.
The reminder status is instantly updated on your file.
We are excited to be offering this new service to our patients, which is an extension of the HotDoc product.
12th May is International Nurses Day (IND). IND gives us all the opportunity to take some time out of our busy schedules to celebrate the invaluable contribution that nurses make to the health of our society and the pivotal role they play in health care.
To make it easier to book an appointment with your GP you can now book online. This means you can book an appointment 24/7 at home or on the run.
To make an appointment visit hotdoc.com.au or download the HOTDOC app from the App store or Google Play for Android phones.
We are listed in HOTDOC as General Practice Cremorne Sydney.
Please note some appointment types aren’t available online this is because they require us to coordinate your care with two clinicians so travel vaccinations and any immunisations require you to call the practice.
If an appointment slot is not available and you have an urgent matter please call General Practice Cremorne on 02-8969 5000 where one of our receptionists will assist you with your appointment.
